1st Sgt. Jessica S. Davila

First Sergeant Jessica S. Davila was born 14 August 1986 in Waco, Texas. First Sergeant Davila reported to Recruit Training, Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island, South Carolina on 8 August 2004. Upon completion of recruit training, Private First Class Davila reported to Personnel Administrative School, Camp Johnson, North Carolina where she obtained the MOS of 0151.

On 8 February 2005, Private First Class Davila reported to Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadron HMH-362- the Ugly Angels, where she served as an administrative clerk. In April 2005, Lance Corporal Davila deployed in support of the Unit Deployment Program to Okinawa, Japan. Upon return, she competed and won the unit's meritorious Corporal Board and was promoted to Corporal on 2 March 2006 . Corporal Davila reported to Marine Corps Embassy Security Guard School on 15 October 2006, then later graduated as a Marine Corps Embassy Security Guard. Corporal Davila started her Marine Security Guard tour at the American Embassy in London, England, and on 1 January 2008 was promoted to Sergeant. She continued to serve as a Marine Security Guard with follow on assignments to the American Embassies Caracas, Venezuela, and Athens, Greece.

Sergeant Davila executed PCS orders to the National Military Command Center, Nuclear and National Command Control and Communications (N2C3) Division J33, Homeland Defense, Nuclear, and Current Operations, Joint Staff, J-3 Operations Directorate, Pentagon, where she served as an administrative specialist. During her time, she was selected as the Joint Staff Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year. Sergeant Davila was then hand-selected to serve as the Enlisted Executive Assistant to the Director of Operations, J-3, Joint Staff. On 1 April 2012, she was promoted to Staff Sergeant and then deployed in August 2012 as an individual augment, with the Afghanistan Threat Finance Cell in Support of OEF to Kabul, Afghanistan, where she served as the unit’s administrative and logistics specialist.

Upon return of her deployment, she executed orders to serve as the Administration Chief to the Commanding General, Marine Corps Installation West-Marine Corps Base, Camp Pendleton, CA. After her tour, she then rotated to the Installation Administration Personnel Center aboard Camp Pendleton, where she served as the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge of the Pay and Promotion Sections- Command Support Branch, and Separations Section- Outbound Branch. She was promoted to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant 1 February 2016 and in 2017, she executed PCS orders to serve as the Senior Enlisted Advisor and Administration Chief for the Management and Administration Office, White House Military Office, Washington, D.C. She was frocked to her current rank on 31 May 2019 and was assigned as the Company First Sergeant Headquarters and Service Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 2, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

In July 2021 she reported to Marine Air Support Squadron-2, Marine Air Control Group-18, 1st Marine Air Wing, and Okinawa, Japan for duty as the Headquarters and Service Company First Sergeant and was selected to serve in her current position as the Sergeant Major for Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, in Okinawa, Japan.
