An ice sculpture of an eagle gleams on a display table during the 241st Marine Corps Birthday celebration at the Marine Corps Air Station Futenma mess hall Nov. 9 on MCAS Futenma, Okinawa, Japan. The meal was one of many served on Marine Corps installations across Okinawa that honors the Marine Corps Birthday by bringing Marines, families and base employees together to enjoy a special meal served by the mess hall. Patrons enjoyed a meal of many courses, such as steak, lobster, and shrimp; as well as live entertainment by the III Marine Expeditionary Force Band and a uniform pageant by Kubasaki High School Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets.
