Daisuke Haneshiro, left, exchanges business cards with Lt. Col. James J. Hurd during a visit and educational tour October 14 on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. During the visit, chairmen of the Japan-Russia Friendship Association were instructed on the history and tenant units of MCAS Futenma. After a question and answer session, Marine officials provided the chairmen with a windshield tour of the air station. Haneshiro is a chairman with the Japan-Russia Friendship Association. Hurd is the executive officer of MCAS Futenma, Marine Corps Installations Pacific and a Kingston, New Hampshire, native.
